The elemental monkeys aren't so bad, but I personally don't like them.
Litleo/Pyroar is quite good ingame, so you could got with it if you want to experience gen 6 mons more.
Snorlax is always good.
Nincada/Ninjax could be a worthwhile pick.
Fufrou is surprisingly bulky.
Tyrunt would be good enough (a lot better than Aurorus or whatever its' pre-evolution is called).
Greninja is a good asset, although I don't like it.
A Pidgeotto could carry you through all the sky battles (I think...).
Combusken/Blaziken is a good choice, but also see Greninja.
Espurr is good. Male is better but female can still wreck house ingame. Wide movepool, too.
The Nidorans are good.
Crobat is awesome.
Fletchling is best with Gale Wings.
Sigilyph has always been one of my favorites.
Steelix is a good choice, but beware of special attackers.
Ralts going into Gardevoir or Gallade is good. Though Gallade and Medicham share the same typing and while it is not the worst idea to have that ingame, it is still not advantageous.
I've always wanted to train a Mienfoo. I like it more than its evolution, though.
The others aren't necessarily bad but those are the ones that I used most throughout the years. You have solid choices (and the ones listed in your post are good too), so there shouldn't be a problem.
