Klefki gets destroyed by EQ, which can KO it from full HP. Sableye also gets hit hard by EQ, so it needs to be at full HP going into that fight, and will die after burning it if it (sableye) switches in.

Klefki isn't even that reliable of counter; it gets damaged very badly by EQ and Fire Punch and it can't really do much to actually to KO Kangaskhan itself unless you get lucky with SwagPlay.

Like I said, you need to get lucky with SwagPlay. Cause just using Foul Play is just going to get your Klefki KO'd since Kangaskhan will likely outspeed it. Paralyzing it is also a matter of chance.

Go play singles online against good people and you'll see. Fake Out is only good in doubles for mega mom. In singles it's better to have an advantage over the dumb fucks who think their Ferrothorn or Skarmory will stop you than a single weak priority move when you already have access to Sucker Punch.

correct me if i'm wrong, but mega stat changes arent taken into consideration on the first turn, Lucario has inner focus, doesnt need that much an atk boost to 100% a 0hp/d mega mum.

yes, you're totally wrong.
The only stat that "seems" to not be taken into consideration on the mega-evolution turn is speed.

Again, that's only because the turn order is selected Before the mega with its stat changes, damages happens After the mega-evolution, so everything is taken into account.

Also, moves like Gyro Ball take into account the mega speed, not the base one

I've had success leading off with Choice Scarf'd Terrakion on battle spot, its usually a 2HKO on the standard kangas you see running around.

But then again I bring a wobbuffet with me also just to scare the shit out of the other player, hell I don't even use it most of the time.

Only Klefki has any chance of countering it and even then it's slim. The only other mon, IMO, that comes close to a counter is Cofagrigus, thanks to Mummy. And even then, all they have to do is switch out to get Parental Bond back

Okay, since the majority of vp has no idea what the difference between a check and a counter is, I'll e l fucking explain it.

Counter- Can come in at any point on a pokeman and fuck it up. Example- Heatran counters Talonflame because it doesn't learn a single move that can threaten it.

Check- Can come in on a pokeman AFTER something has already been KOd and scare it away. Example- MegaLuke checks MegaMom.

Pinsir is a check, but not a counter.

Rocky Helmet Avalugg can come in safely and stall indefinitely with Recover, unless it has brought Power-Up Punch. (A note: if you're playing at level 100, Seismic Toss is a 2HKO, but at level 50, it's a 3HKO.)

Mega Aggron slightly outpaces it in damage, but not enough to make a difference in the outcome.

Quagsire only fears its Return and can force it out with Yawn, but that's kind of an edge case.

A male Milotic or Clefable can hope Cute Charm procs. (Unfortunately you couldn't try a similar approach with Static or Flame Body, because most everything with those abilities fears Earthquake, which is not a contact move.)

Slaking survives everything it can do, ties it for speed, and can OHKO it with Giga Impact or Hammer Arm, but the problem with this idea is that you're using Slaking.

Mega Kangaskhan cannot do better than a 3HKO against Alomomola.

If you don't switch in to an Earthquake, Choice Band Swift Swim Relicanth has a chance to OHKO it with Head Smash in the rain.

Mandibuzz can beat it if you don't switch it into a Return. If it's got a Choice Scarf, you can even do that.

Shuca, Occa, and Chilan Berries might prove effective.
