>>19898011>Are there any other games similar y'all can recommend? The sequel. It's Japan-only, but there's a perfect translation patch you can get. It takes place seconds after the ending of the first game, and expands hugely on it by adding in like ten new packs, remakes all the gyms, adds an entire second item with several bonus gyms and a game corner, and so much more.
>Should I play the Pokemon TCG as it is currently if I like this?Chances are, you're not playing with a competitive deck. I somehow doubt that you've managed to come up with Haymaker or Rain Dance considering how easy the AI is in the game.
The thing is, casual decks won't get you anywhere. Even if you find a TCG that only uses Base, Fossil, and Jungle (like in the game), you'll probably get wrecked because the competitive meta is on a level beyond casual. This means that playing the current TCG will not only result in power creep-shock, but meta-shock at the same time.
You probably won't like it, especially if you haven't played other TCGs before.
