Haven't seen that much discussion about the next season of Rated Battles on XY yet so thought i'd make this thread.
"In Rating Battle Season 5, your battles will be based on rules like those used in the first generation of Pokémon games, Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version. That means your matches will be 6-on-6 Single Battles, with no items allowed! You will be able to build your team from more Pokémon than just those available in the original games. Use all six Pokémon in your party to their fullest in this classic challenge."
Interesting to finally see 6v6 singles implemented on battle spot, even if it is without items. This also means a meta without mega kang though. as a 6v6 player tired of looking through passerbys for a challenge, i'm definitely looking forward to this. Thoughts?
