Let's be honest, there's nothing wrong with it taking this long to get a 5 IV Pokemon in the actually stats you want it to be WITH the desired ability.
However, you're a fucking idiot if you think this process takes 5 minutes and is simple to do.
Simple, to an extent. Not everyone can get a 6IV Ditto so easily unless you frequent the internet or get lucky off Wonder Trade.
And hatching eggs with the likelihood of the hatched Pokemon having all the desired attributes takes longer than 5 minutes, to collect 5 and hatch 5.
People who use breed Pokemon and make fun of simulatorfags for not wanting to bike around all day are truly the worst.
