Think of it this way. You still bred a Turtwig, you could give it away somewhere, like you can use it for free shit on GTS, or just Wonder Trade it for PokeMiles, also the fact that ending a long hunt can be incredibly satisfying.

Ironic that I ask about no. of boxes but I don't even track that shit anymore when I MM lol.

But yeah, keep going OP. If you're disheartened after a while, take a break and stop for the meantime then just come back to it when you feel like it. You can even just do it casually while watching a movie or something.

He's right OP, you can get shones easily when you watch a movie, listen to music, or sit down and watch TV

My most brutal MM project was for Whimsicott. Especially since I get pretty anal about the important IVs.

I hatched a total of 3 shinies before I got what I wanted... but I could never imagine the pain the Combee guy must've went through...

I'm fearing that this will happen to me too.

I'm breeding for a shiny Froakie right and am actually using two mons with 6 IVs but I'm 100 % sure that exactly the shiny won't have Protean.

Also yeah, every time I feel like giving up I look at this image and hatch another box.

I personally don't count 'em myself OP but I average about 3~4 hrs of continuous hatching before I hit the hay.
More fortunate hunts take me close to the 4th day or a week. Longer ones take about 2 or 3 weeks.

But I sometimes take over a week break between them. I can breed for ages to get what I want but if I'm doing it too much and burn out I'll never get back to it.
