Sup /vp/. I wanna restart Pokemon Y but I have the event Torchic with Blazikenite. Do I bother with trading it over to another game and whatnot or just say fuck it and start again now?

I used my brief trial period of pokebank to move my pokemon over to a new save, and had my friend hold my torchic with blazikenite so that I could use it as my starter on the second playthrough.

It just depends on if you think you're going to want it, OP. Torchic and blazikenite will be available when ORAS starts anyway, so it's up to you whether you want one in a cherish ball or not.
