e.g. have special attacker out, switch in Mawile as they switch to Chansey, Swords Dance, and now something on their team dies.
Quagsire is also barely a catch-all physical wall. It walls a number of very specific threats. Same with Venusaur: there's really no reason to use it over Amoonguss, and it loses to quite a number of things.
