about the Distortion World. He says that although that accursed place had no time, he still perceived it, and after what felt like countless years, the nothingness
caused him to go insane, then after years of being insane, he got bored of it and went sane. He also explains that while there, his biological processes were slowed
greatly, which is the reason for him appearing to not have aged, and that what little nourishment he needed was filled by eating bits of the kelp-like trees and
drinking from the oddly flowing pools of water. When asked by Cynthia how he managed to escape, Cyrus tells her and the Player that the portal's position in Turnback
Cave that leads to the Distortion World remains constant, but the position on the Distortion World side is constantly changing, and that it was around the time of his
new found sanity that he just happened to guess where it would open up next, and he was able to jump through.
