What does /vp think of pokemon special? It has some issues, but its one of my favorite parts of the pokemon franchise, and I'd like to see what others think of it.

I actually liked it, it gave characterisation to otherwise self inserts and went into a darker alternative of the franchise, like with the zombie psyducks and the famous Arbok being cut in half, it just didn't make it seem all cutesy and happy like the franchise is known for.

yeah, the characters are the best part imo. The only issue i really have is that the ends tend to get rushed as the new games come out, ending up with some awkward conclusions, hoenn pic related. But even those don't hurt it to bad.
