Did it ever occur to anyone that the Pokemon are not exactly the living, breathing creatures that we all know and love?

GameFreak has been hinting at this since Gen I. So it's important to keep track about what we know.

1) Pokemon breed via eggs, regardless of the type
2) Pokemon are capable of being stored digitally in PCs.
3) Pokemon learn moves via Hidden Machines and Technical Machines. Both HMs and TMs are shaped liked CDs in-game.
4) Pokemon are able to be looked up and cataloged via Pokedexes. This occurs almost instantly.

Pokemon are Digimons.


Seriously though, how can we store them in PCs. I cannot headcannon this away.
