>Also being competitive in one game usually transfers between games as a lot of elements are shared in games and competitions, like how many athletes can play multiple sports or players play multiple fighting games at a high level. The higher level of competition you're talking about. The less true your statement is. An NFL player could probably kick your ass at baseball because they share some skills. But they wouldn't be necessarily good at pokemon or street fighter 2 because those require an entirely different set of skills. And even though that NFL player could kick your ass at baseball. They would likely not even qualify for triple A professional baseball because they aren't trained and specialized on that level for that sport. This is why there is only ever a couple of professional athletes who cross games.
So yes, there is some crossover on games/sports. But they aren't all the same. And the higher the level of competition, the less of the crossover.
>The requirement that you be at the highest level possible to give any sort of valid opinion Hold it there. This isn't what's being said. It's a sliding slope. A casual can have an opinion, but it won't be as strong or informed as a competitive player. And a competitive player won't be as strong or informed as a higher competitive/pro. And a higher comp/pro won't be as strong or informed as a hall of famer. etc.
You just need to accept that your opinion is fairly shitty. And either take the time to educate your opinion. Or move on and accept that you suck.
