I'm not able to trade or wonder trade.
I don't know why, but since GEN 4 i'm not able to make any kind of direct trade by internet. I can only do with GTS. Now I bought a 3DS and Y, and still unable do do trade.

What kind of problem is that and how to solve it?

do you live in some sort of backwards country that has a national firewall?

have you checked any of the error codes online?

have you tried using public wi-fi?

It works. Just got my Pokéball Vivillon from >>19932281 and wondertrade work too.

But i remember doing that in HGSS and not working, maybe the other guy was with the same problem.
