They'll also go on and on about how it's more official, competitive or self-balancing than Smogon when in fact most of the pros are former Smogonites and still look favorably upon it even though they spend all their time playing VGC. The pros also don't really give a shit about hacking or where you got your Pokemon, since in the end all that matters is how you play with it.
The only people who get butthurt about it are the shit players and autists like Verlisify who have never top-cut in a tournament, assuming they've even gone to one.
