Why is Flying weak to Electric? Flying type Pokemon aren't grounded, and you have to be grounded for an electric shock to take place.

i thought it was because they're not grounded the electricity that is shot in their body has now real current to follow and does more damage.

I don't understand how electricity works though, but that's always what i assumed.

because if a person gets struck by lighting it can do catastrophic damage to them and kill them quite easily.

Why is Flying weak to electric, when non-flying pokemon aren't.
