I'm well aware of what a REMAKE is, but there's been a decent chunk of formula changes since Gen 3, the E4 being a large one. There's no telling whether they'll stick with the new formula or revert to the old.

I know they've been trying to avoid being linear and failing for the most part so I can see them letting you pick the order, but I'd prefer it linear just for the nostalgia factor.

to be honest, I think it's very likely they get rid of one mon for each one of them so they have teams of four.
Really the only one affected by this would be Sidney, but I guess it's less repeat mons, and they will likely get postgame teams anyway

OP here, that's the part of the question I forgot, teams of 4 or teams of 5. Sidney wouldn't be hard, just lose the Mightyena. It doesn't fit on the team of an Elite Four member anyways.
