Are you saying the Hoenn Dex as in the first 386? or as in just those found in Hoenn and Hoenn alone. Either way, we would be fine. I'm sure GF is gonna expand the Hoenn Dex so your only fire mons aren't a starter, Numel Line and Torkoal r-right?

it might expand, they did say in interviews that there were several pokemon they wanted to put into R/S but didn't because their designs weren't finalized.

It'd be like how they fixed up Kanto a bit in HG/SS because technical limitations forced them to cut entire locations and features from it.

I like smogonbird/appliance though, and even smoogysword isn't all that bad without weakness policy. Once you use them, you understand how not-immortal they are. It's that Mega Pinsir y'all better look out for.
