>Cards that are supporters now being able to be used as many times a turn - Oak and Bill>4 Computer Searches>4 Itemfinders>Alakazam + Pokemon Center>Rain Dance Blastoise that could 2 hit anything in the game>Other cards that have been nerfed that were at full power then like Gust of Wind and Energy Removal (Catcher and Crushing Hammer)You might see it if you played through the GBC game a lot. I've played both versions. It's not broken like now where Pyroar says you need to Evolve or Yveltal does a retarded amount of damage for a little energy investment, but it was harder to find decks that weren't Color based and were more mon-based.
Alakazam-Attacker-HP was a cool deck too - you set up one main attacker and fill up the bench with an Alakazam and Chanseys/Snorlax/Kanga. When the main attacker takes damage, you just transferred damage to the bulky mons and used a Pokemon Center once they all started to take damage - that healed off all the counters. Since you would move the counters off your attacker, it keeps its energy while the rest just healed. It was like have a mon with 500+ hp if they couldn't one shot the main attacker
