The flying ones that have the flapping wings like Staraptor are generally pretty good. The ones that are "soaring" in place look pretty silly. I kinda get the feeling they did that for the sky battles.
On that note, some land Pokemon look weird too. Aggron always looked great with it's sprite poses, but in XY it looks ridiculous just slowly spinning it's arms.
