im currently trying to purify all my shadow pokemon in XD but the shadow gauge wont go down after hours of waiting at full tempo does anyone know why this could be happening?

I think I remember filling up all 9 boxes at full tempo which took a while, but then placing a shadow pokemon in the first box and doing it one by one. I dont remember if thats how you do it but you could give it a try. I know thats how I healed lugia though

You don't need to purify all of the pokemon, you just need to have all of your sets at full tempo and lugia with full tempo in the 9th set.
