So, I planned on catching a Pikachu, breeding it and using a Raichu for my play through of X. Well I caught a Pikachu in the forest, thing is, the lovable little thing ended up having a light ball. So now I'm kinda stuck as to what I should do.

Should I use Raichu, or just use a Light Balled Pikachu?

The Raichu would have better stats overall, but the balled Pikachu's attacks would do insane damage.

Easy. You were going to breed it.

So breed it while holding the Light Ball. Get two children, one to evolve, the other with its parent's Light Ball. Both with Volt Tackle. Swap between them at will.

Though the light ball Pikachu would probably one-shot anything it could out speed that didn't resist it.
