This thread, and all subsequent threads, are going to be a flavor of shit even more putrid than your normal smogon thread, because Aegislash is not as apparently broken as shit like Mega Milf. Mega Milf was blatantly broken cause it 6-0'd teams with no effort at any skill level, but around 1200 ELO (which is a fair bet where most people on /vp/, if they play OU at all, are, as you see utterly laughable shit like "Talonflame should have been suspected before Aegislash" [or Talonflame should get suspected at all] or "it's weak to Erfquake so it's balanced" ITT) all you see is Stance Dance which is a garbage set that's easy to handle.
Aegislash is more subtle than stuff like Mega Milf and Luke, until you seem more high level matches where Aegislash is almost always a star player, almost always has the capacity to turn a game around, and is almost always worth *more* than the slot in the party it takes up. There's virtually no reason to not use it, it fits on every archetype (except Rain pretty much,) it can run something like a dozen items viably and it can fulfill multiple roles simultaneously with multiple different sets.
It really feels like just a step down from GSC Snorlax, but instead of having about 30 or so things that are any good in OU, XY has about a hundred.
