Honestly? Sylveon really grew on me. I think it started when I learned it can manipulate its ribbons. They're more like appendages than arbitrary decorations, and that's kinda cool. It's vaguely unsettling stare suits the Fairy-type being almost-too-cutesy and otherwordly as opposed to just fluffy, I hope we see more of that in subsequent mons. The Fairy Tale Girls and some of the moves, plus the truly mythical-looking Xerneas, show that potential.
All in all, its pretty cute and a solid battler. Gets my seal of approval.
