>>19975228>having opinionsGold was my childhood game. I started with Red but Gold was what I played the longest. I'm not nostalgia blinded, GSC was far from perfect. HGSS did nothing to improve GSC. The level curve is still horrible, and the Pokemon diversity is still close to zero.
Unfortunately, they also ruined nearly every BGM that I loved from GSC. They composed every theme as though you would only hear it once, giving them all long and pointless hype intros, that leave me feeling like I'm playing Gold: The OC Remix version. It wasn't what I was looking for in a remake. They're incredibly overrated games that, while being perfect for new players, does nothing for me. Continue liking it all you want, I don't want people to be as disappointed in games as I am.
