No recovery and it takes a mega slot. It won't be very good in OU unless it gets signicant buffs from tutors in ORAS.

Scizor and Mawile (and zardX are the most common Mega mons @ high level/tournament play and it gets raped by those.

It can't survive in OU. It will probably be great in UU by taking care of pokemon such as darmanitan, hydreigon, mienshao, tornadus-t, umbreon, honchkrow, krookodile to an extent, and rotom-h though.

MCX also has Outrage (which is equally strong as Flare Blitz), and isn't weak to any Fairies not named Carbink or Diancie. Flare Blitz also has far better coverage and doesn't miss, and MCX can just Roost off the recoil. The Dragonzard also has much better boosting options than Megagross and cannot be Burned.

It's a good move with some piss-poor distribution. Also, a large number of things in OU are either immune to SW (flying types, levitate) or don't care about the speed drop (bulky things, esp. with priority.)

Unlike the other magic bouncers we have, barring maybe xatu when its HP invested, all of them die to a sneeze of an attack. A bulky Magic Bouncer is going to be good since if it wont die straight away if it switches in on an opponents attack if they predict the switch.

Not that it matters. Diancie isnt the type of thing where you invest a lot in attack stats anyway. It can run mixed Diamond Storm/Moonblast just fine.
