For a Galvantula I'm about to train, torn on the 4th move. Game plan is to use a Focus sash to set up Sticky Web, then Volt Switch out and nab a kill later in the match due to high speed.
-Sticky Web
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Bug Buzz/Thunder
On the one hand, Bug buzz spreads coverage while being a solid SpAtk stab, but Bug doesn't seem like the best stab to use considering there's not a lot it would be SA against (Gardevoir and Alakazam are the two big ones I can name), while also being resisted by a lot. With Compoundeyes, Thunder can reliably hit like a truck, at the expense of having two slots used for 1 type (though they both have different uses)
Leaning towards Thunder, are there any popular pokemon online people use that you really need Buzz for?
Also wanted to train a SpAtk Lucario, after the stabs we have:
-Aura Sphere
-Flash Cannon
-Dark Pulse/Psychic/Nasty Plot
-Dark Pulse/Psychic/Nasty Plot
I could just use both attacking moves for maximum coverage but with Nasty Plot as an option I felt I ought to consider it. There's also the stab Vacuum Wave to consider, possibly over Aura Sphere? Priority is the thing these days, and though I was gonna run a Timid nature, I was wondering if anyone else used it, and if so, to what effect.
