I use Galvantula to get up Sticky Web. With a Focus Sash, it pretty much guarantees some damage depending on the opposing Pokémon.

Not the best, but then again I'm a serious Karenfag.

Leads are definitely still a viable strategy. That baton pass guy who got to the top of the OU ladder was using a Deoxys-S suicide lead that would only set up hazards and screens.
