I always see people on this board talking a lot of shit about Battle Spot and I'd really like to know why. Honestly, I really like the concept of the format - having to select 3 out of 6 mons to hopefully have everything you'll need against your opponent based on their team preview. There's actually a lot of game that occurs before the game even starts and that adds surprising depth to the experience.

So what's wrong with all that?
