I forgot to mention this earlier.Climbing the Walls (XY025) failed to make the Top 100 list of Saturday cable ratings last week, so we don't know its ratings, but it obviously did under a million again. It just isn't working out in the West anymore. As with XY020, Grant cannot save the dub, in fact, he made it worse. I don't even think we can reach 1 million anymore, it's a lost cause.

I actually hated that final ending scene even as a kid though, mostly because I thought it was really corny. Well I made it past the Unova League and...goddamn that was bad. I didn't know much aside what happened at the very end but holy crap, it's like they set up one stupid plot detail after the next to make the league as shitty as possible. I'd really like for someone to interview them someday about what the heck the thought process behind it was because I somehow doubt the goal here was "let's make it as shitty as possible".
