Anything but that in Singles. Most often that not, the opponent will bring scarfed/sashed pokemon to muck you up.

just did a mock battle with that guy using a mega mawile and beat his whole team with it. i got a substitute and swords dance up against abomasnow and sucker punched walrein twice after it killed my sub with fissure. feraligatr was an ohko with sucker punch as well

Thing is, mock battle won't work for BM, as the AI will most probably lead with a different pokemon depending on your team. It could have just put a Walrein outright and OHKO your Mawile, for instance.

Yes, but it's set in stone which pokemon would be the lead when it's saved. Abomasnow is in lead because the AI was going to hit the Greninja with Focus Miss.

That doesn't really help me since I can't see it until it comes out, unlike the Battle Preview shows. And there's also the Stockpile one, so it's not always a grim reaper.

Frog literally solos teams and can hit nearly anything hard. Scarf is usually good since I can set up SD and Sash is a pain but the opponent rarely does sufficient revenge damage.
