Let us imagine: Game Freak takes tips from us after years of ignoring us, and start implementing multiple types of shinies per pokemon. The rate of shiny pokemon is increased by 2, but there are 8 different colorations per pokemon.
How expanded your dong would be? How long would your shiny hunts be?

I wouldn't mind more options, but I think 8 is too many.

I think a good start is fixing shiny palettes that have little difference between themselves and the Pokémon's normal palette.

There shouldn't just be shinies, there should be color variations dependent on geneology.

That's right, not only could you have pokeball, egg moves, IVs, and hidden ability to consider, but you will have to keep track of who the fathers were.
