I myself use the 4iv jap ditto I have when mm'ing genderless/male only mons.

I had 15 fossils per reset, so that helped.

It would have got it sooner if i didn't run into a shiny dwebble while cracking rocks looking for fossils

Random nature and IVs though, i only did this because i'm not actually going to use it. It's 100% trophy shiny.

Whilst it's a good point it isn't really what I tried to convey.
Only reason I started hunting via MM is because no matter what every shiny I ever found in the wild or FS or via Chaining/Chain Fishing would have shit IVs and therefor I wouldn't be able to use them in competitive. I can do something about these number if I'm breeding, but the first shiny I find in say Sapphire is useless, because it was generated with shitty numbers. The only way to get a good shiny is to play Masuda's game, and if they're gonna force me into I ain't afraid to play dirty.

Best set would probably include a Naive/Hasty nature, 252 in Attack and Speed with 4 in Special Attack run with a Choice Scarf. But you'd need Outrage for best results, so it doesn't really matter until ORAS gives us Move Tutors anyways.

To my knowledge shiny Kyurem is legit as it isn't shiny locked in BW/BW2. But that doesn't really stop people from genning them and transferring them, or cloning legit ones. Check the nature and IVs, it might be a shiny with bad stat which would mean a most likely legit one, but if it's 6IV you might have a hackmon on your hands.

Ex-shiny hunter here. MM'd a fair few back in White-2 and am thinking about starting the rounds up again in my new copy of Y.

Opinions on where I should start - I'm thinking of MM'ing some Gen 6 mons but my inner Masochist is tempted to try and breed some of my favorite Pokes I already have shinies of into stylish Pokeballs since it's now a thing.

I'd go with your old favorites first, the ones you really want the most. If it's anything like what I went through, all my pre gen VI shinies have horrible stats. This gen makes breeding penta perfects so much easier.

Hope your luck is going well.

To get to the point, I'm here to brag about shiny Drilbur.

I also plan on building a ROYGBIV team... but without indigo, so ... so just ROYGBV.

I have shiny Helioptile, Noivern/Huntail, and Houndour, so I need shiny suggestions for MMing for orange, yellow, and violet shinies.

I could evolve my Zorua for violet, but I don't particularly like shiny Zoroark over Zorua.

Any ideas would be great, but I plan on MMing for them, so if it's possible to limit Pokemon to that, that'd be cool.

As far as allowance goes, what do you mean?
Illegal combos can still breed down and technically be "legit," though it's arguable. Depends on who you talk to.

Personally I prefer all of my pokemon to be in legal balls, but I don't really care if others do it.
Though I must say, shame on Ray Rizzo, it's still not something I feel terribly strong about in regards to other players

I just remember at some point before the DS wfc shut down, people made a big fuss about cosmetic, obviously genned or not, pokeballs.
I don't remember much past that until ray rizzo.
