I live in a port city which closely reminds me of Olivine City in Johto. Lots of shipping lanes, a bit hilly, and has a lighthouse sitting offshore from the mouth of the harbor.

Probably... Verdanturf. Small city (I know Verdanturf is a town), has very clean air and water so it's great for being healthy, is rather close to a volcanic area but none of the smoke or ash gets here, surrounded by mountains...

My university town is like Violet City: historical place, not much there beside the school and old people.

My hometown is more like Eterna City. Was historic at one point but no one much cares about that. Some pretty cool stuff there but there's some unfavoury sorts that have set up shop as well.

There's a weird village I always go past on my train line that's suspicious as hell, like Mahogany is supposed to be. There's fuck all there but a garage and I'm pretty sure the whole village works there. No one gets on the train, no one gets off.

Long Beach, CA, so probably Lilycove. Really big city on the beach that has a lot of nicer neighborhoods on grassy hills, but also crime in the bad neighborhoods.

Maybe Village Bridge.... my city is an old and small town that was initially built near a river and silver mines. People built a shitone of bridges and the city over them. But, in the last century, the river was relocated and actually there's a street under all those bridges.
