>>20003645Great game. In terms of 3D battle simulator it does the job a lot better than the Stadium games did, however, /vp/ will parrot Stadium games over and over because of shit like muh minigames.
The online was fantastic for the time because no other game had random matchup to it, there weren't a lot of cheaters on it either and when you did happen to come across one, they were easy to beat with a properly trained team.
The best part about the game though was probably the trainer customization, it was the first game that featured it and its still a whole lot better than X and Y's which is sad.
I hope Game Freak eventually lets us choose between different avatars for the main character again, it would be cool.
