When will Delphox and Chesnaut be announced for Smash Bros?

I mean everyone thought Chespin and Fennekin were the best starters right? Man, I'd hate to be on the side of the losing starter wars.

On the other hand no, they wont be in smash, the only other Pokemon to make it in will be Jigglypuff, if any more Pokemon get in.

Still, seeing Chesnaught get in as a Bowser clone and working Delphox into a Robin clone or something would be nice to see. Even though the Chespin and Fennekin fans were a bit obnoxious back when Froakie was the least popular Kalos starter, Smash still feels incomplete without the entire trio fighting together.

I totally believe this theory, by the way.

Why else would Greninja be the only starter with a blatantly superior HA?

I feel like Chesnaught and Delphox were initially going to be Grass/Steel and Fire/Fairy, so that the starters would showcase all three of the types that were added after Gen I. Both of those type combos are objectively superior to Water/Dark, and Protean doesn't even factor in until after beating the game. Hell, even now, your best choice for a starter in X and Y would probably be Fennekin, since it nets you a Chespin from Shauna and you don't need to feel bad about replacing your starter/gift frogue with a Protean variant for competitive mode.
Also, Game Freak seems to have expected Magician to actually be a good ability, to the point where you're expected to go out of your way to use it over Prankster on Klefki.

Pretty sure GF intended Greninja to be the Charizard of the Gen VI starters. He's just so much better than the other two in terms of battling ability.
