Blaziken, Mega Kangaskhan/Gengar/Lucario, Prankster schenanigans, and a handful of other things straight-up outclass most of the game.

Why doesn't GF give a shit about balance? Can we petition for them to at least make an attempt?

GF balances mostly for doubles. Then they also have to try and balance things for single player, which is a completely different beast than multiplayer.
Then there's gimmick mons which completely throw off the curve.

You'll notice that Megamom, Megengar and Mega Luke aren't as strong in doubles (theyre still fairly strong though)

This. GF's competitive format is Doubles, and while M-Kanga is format-warping she's still easy enough to deal with with preparation and appropriate use of Protect.

M-Gengar is strong but if you see him coming it's easy to beat his gimmick. M-Lucario barely gets a look-in.
