No one looks at the type and thinks "Boy, we need to do something about all those Rock Pokemon tearing up the competitive scene". There are exactly two Rock-type Pokemon in OU, and both of them needed godly stats to get there. And they both picked up a seventh weakness this gen thanks to the addition of Fairy-types.
