What's wrong with M.Gard? Go for Timid and max out Sp.Att and Speed EV and you get a pretty good Mega.

it takes hits surprisingly well, still outspeeds skarm, and can put a lot of offensive pressure on most teams. i think its a pretty underestimated mega

its a wall breaking set. its really useful on my team. The coverage is pretty nice and with stealth rock support it can OHKO or severely damage a lot of pokemon that check it on the switch in

ive actually thought about that but i havent been seeing heatran as much as ferro. hp fire takes care of ferro after rocks, clean OHKOs both scizor and mega scizor from 100% and easily 2HKOs skarm on the switch in with a chance of OHKO if rocks. I think HP fire covers a lot more threats than hp ground does and heatran doesnt give me too much trouble anyways
