What would Game Freak have to give zangoose and seviper to get them out of NU for ORAS? If they get a mega what would make them more usable?

Zangoose could get a mega with Poison Heal, Seviper could get a Poison/Fire typing with some badass ability.

I was asking what would make their megas more usable. A stat boost might knock them up to RU but I don't think that would be enough.

Zangoose is better than it's given credit to. I use one for my main team and I've swept quite a few times with it as an anchor/baton toss with Facade and CC.

If it could learn sucker punch, u turn or Endevor though.

That would be the most useless ability for Zangoose. In fact any ability that involves it to be poisoned would be useless for a M-Zangoose since it can't hold anything.

I understand fully giving him steel makes him weak to fighting even more but here is the thing:

It gives effective offensive STAB and gives him an immunity to poison...something Seviper does?

Well fire could work.

Fire in the sense that some venoms give a burning sensation. Also it'd make Seviper one of the greatest deliverers of status moves ever.

Serviper could maybe either be Dark/Poison or Dragon/Poison. I'd want it to be defensive but Serviper seems suited as a mixed attacker. Increase in Attack, Special Attack, and Speed. I think it gets sucker punch so a nice stab from Dark type would be great. I think it benefits from Shed Skin since it can remove burns and paralysis. Magic Guard would be interesting on it but it'll probably get Intimidate or Poison Touch.

Learns Dragon Dance via breeding, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, Dual Chop and Outrage

I think those are actually possible scenarios Game Freak could offer us if these guys will ever get a mega evo.
Maybe the abilities on their mega will be still remain counterparts in slight way or another.
Either being opposite to each other or similar in terms of power boosting or status related ones.
