Back when X/Y first came out, along with Pokebank, I immediately put everything into the bank, including every event pokemon since 2009, and many shinies I'd been lucky enough to find over the years. Thing is, I had no idea Nintendo Network was a thing beforehand, and so when I made one, all my data was erased off of Pokebank. I straight up didn't play Pokemon for a month, I was so butthurt by my own ignorance.
