It's like how Mega Heracross is slower, but punches holes through every offensive team imaginable. Megachomp is basically Kyu-B but with a better typing and movepool.

The Speed drop ain't all that bad. Running it with Sticky Web support can help out, as can Baton Passing boosts from Scolipede.

It's one of the main reasons to use it without BP support. Fire Blast to gib physical walls and Dragon Claw/EQ to clean up, with SD to break walls.

Outside of sand it's quite good seeing as despite the drop Draco Meteor is arguably better than Outrage because it doesn't lock you/confuse your and is stronger than Dragon Claw/Dragon Rush, but even on a Jolly set I like to carry Fire Blast, just incase of things like Ferrothorn, Scizor or Skarmory.
