I would assume so, or maybe not considering the earliest bucktooth sameface moeblob character I can find is Bianca, who was designed by Ohmura. But look at the progression of Sugi's style and you can see that it's ended up where we are now. Dawn and Lyra look like a halfway point between RSE Sugi and BW Sugi, and BW Sugi looks like XY Sugi.

Ohmura already does half the art. And most of the pokemon everyone loves were designed by Atsuko Nishida.

It's not the designs you faggots, it's the art style. You don't like goodra/dragonite/whatever, not what I mean, I mean the consistent art style that's evolved along with the series. It'll change so drastically when he finally moves on one way or another

Mega chicken and mega luc are the same sort of ridiculously over the top designs that come with megas. And as far as I can tell, the only people who don't like luc and goodra are people who let fanbases ruin pokemon for them. Lucario is good, no way around that. Same with goodra.

When I was very young I used to think it was possible to breed two different Pokemon together and bring forth some amalgam of the parents.

Wrong. I dislike Lucario because of Game Freak's pandering to it. They keep portraying it as some god, but it's not.
