>>20060191>>20060395Eh, I'm pretty sure there's no reptilian (mystical or otherwise) in their design. Besides dragons themselves are chimera of our ancient natural fears that are burned into our DNA, a lot like how baby chicks fear certain shapes going in a certain direction right after they hatch.
Those fears are large predatory birds, big cats, wolves, large reptiles, and not to mention fossil finds throughout the centuries. Those reasons could be why multiple cultures have dragons in their myth despite never coming into contact with one another.
