In the game, since dark type was not introduced until later, Alakazam was highly over used. His speed and special were insane and he could basically take out anyone without taking any damage.

that's not what overrated means, though. overrated means that it's regarded as better than it actually is; to rate it too highly for what it can actually do. alakazam was factually a bloody beast at the time; sure, it wasn't mewtwo, but /nothing/ was mewtwo, and alakazam was still incredibly brutal.

Honestly, this quiz would have been more appropriate a bit into gen 3. As it is, it needs major updating.
