I've recently finished Y and it's the only Pokemon game I've finished bar Yellow.

I'm now trying to wrap my head around breeding. I'm pretty sure I understand how to get the right nature and ability, but egg moves and IVs are confusing me, can you help me out /vp/?

Say I want to breed an Escavalier with Megahorn, Drill Run & Knock Off. Do I simply need to continuously chain egg move breeding until I have a father with all three moves or is it more complicated than that? Are offspring guaranteed to have those three moves?

As for IV breeding is it as simple breeding two pokemon with a high IV is likely to give offspring with higher IVs and breeding two pokemon with lower IVs is more likely to give lower IVs?

Sorry for asking to be spoonfed, I couldn't find any guide that made things clear to me.
