The bikelane is probably not exact same place, as you can see grass beneath in ORAS one

What bothers me is how small everything seems. Instead of scores of two- and four-tile trees, they just use a couple handful of big trees now, and pad the leftover space with darker-shaded grass. It makes the routes look much smaller and compact.

The RS sprites had a lot of charm to them. I'm a huge sucker for 32 bit. They remain to be my favourite graphical style in the franchise.

But all that being said, the remakes looks spectacular, they appear to have captured the scale and variety of Hoenn very well.

Gen 3 was not my favorite generation.

I might not buy ORAS because Mega Evolutions and some of the areas didn't really make a pretty transition to 3, imo.

Because sometimes simple is better, there's no need to go over the top with the rooms, because the point of the E4 is the battles.
The whole game should be hyping you up for them, not the room.
