I would rather get a full 3D world with wild Pokémon and without quick travel. Orre's places were beautiful in my opinion, but those two things are really problematic.
Also fuck using Mt. Battle for grinding every new Pokémon.

Like if they can force Mega Evolution without a bond, and yet keep them under control, creating berserk monsters like how Korrina's M-Lucario was. Each of the admins would have such a Pokemon and the big bad would have six, and the goal is to take control of a Legendary and use its power to terrorize folk or something. I'm thinking Arceus, so it'd get a main role in a game. The villains would acknowledge that while it may be considered a creator deity, it's still very much just a Pokemon, a Pokemon to be enslaved and captured and turned into a Shadow Pokemon or whatever.
