Don't see him getting much use in the meta, even with his awesome Attack and Defence stats, relatively decent movepool.

If the Hidden Ability was released would he see a rise in use?

It's his Speed and Sp. Def that's kinda holding it back.

It requires quite a lot of reading to be able to set up safely with DDance if ever. I run mine with Scarf because it's a lot safer.

People are always complaining about Rock Head not being released but I think Strong Jaws amazing on it. I've been using Rock Polish/Rock Slide/Ice Fang/Fire Fang and it's been working wonders. I find Ice Fang to be more useful than Dragon Claw 99% of the time.

I dont really think so, it's really weak to priority (Bullet Punch, Mach Punch namely). If you can get rid of the priority users you could easily bulk a nonSTAB EQ, boost and sweep.

See, when it and its signature ability were revealed, we all thought that it was going to get a STAB biting move to go along with it.
Then X and Y came out and introduced a grand total of 0 new Dragon-type moves and 1 new Rock-type move, which is Diancie's Diamond Storm.
There's a small chance that Tyrantrum and Aerodactyl too I guess will still get that Ability-appropriate STAB in ORAS. We already know that Groudon and Kyogre are getting moves that didn't exist in X and Y, and there are four types that haven't gotten any new moves in Gen VI outside of Signature Moves for Legendary Pokemon.

Because his typing is shit in this meta.
A lot of steel, ground, and fairy types that can potentially 1hko him without any set up. While his attack and defense is amazing, you get fucked over by his low speed and abysmal SpD. His ability is shit too. Sure, crunch becomes a powerhouse at 120BP without any added variables, and the elemental fangs become 97, but with a BP like 97 you're better off using a pokemon with any of the elemental beams. And considering how easy it is to take it down with special attackers doesn't really do it any good.
