I use him as my auto kill. I don't like an opponent's mon, I bring in this guy to kill it. Knock Off, Protect, Substitute, Destiny Bond.

I like using it as a physical tank. Prankster Cotton Guard is just too good.

Why would I bring him in on a Prankster? If they bring in theirs, I've done my job of forcing out a threat (CharX, Dragonite, etc). Then I just Knock Off unless it's something like a Whimsicott and switch out.

protect, destiny bond, will-o-wisp, swagger

it's basically a suicide mon, and if your opponent out donks your DB, cripple with burn & confusion damage.

protect is a must for turn 1 mega evolution

Also I technically have Substitute. I did consider Taunt and Sub has been more useful in assuring the opponent can knock me out.

Give it magic coat and disable. Mega evolve turn 1 using magic coat to send rocks/spore/whatever back to enemy team, then get prankster disable so they cant do it again. It works best as an antilead.
