You're not speeding any relevant things with timid, so might as well go modest. Specs with Flamethrower/Earth Power/Dragon Pulse/Dark Pulse is nice.

Pretty sure he's like that from long before the events of BW as well. The only time you see Ghetsis's right arm is during N's coronation in the intro to Black and White, and it's black and shriveled. And if you look closely at his sprites, the entire right side of his face seems to be paralyzed.
It's not just Ghetsis's eye that's damaged or missing, half of his body is probably paralyzed. Those long robes he wore in Black and White may have hidden some manner of supports so he could walk without exposing his injury/deformity.

What's the best spread for Hydreigon on VGC? I know it must be Modest with Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Fire Blast/Flamethrower and Earth Power.

The first time I saw that picture felt like a punch in the gut. They actually made a 4x weakness joke at Hydreigon's expense. Did Glaceon get a poster of it menacing a Garchomp? Was Leafeon ever shown dominating a Swampert in official promotional art? Fuck Sylveon with a venomous core drill.
Every other Fairy-type is the tightest shit that's too legit to quit, though.

IIRC the speed was just the leftover EVs dumped in after HP and SP.ATK. 140 HP allows it to survive a good portion of some hits, like a Garchomp's Dragon Claw.

It really felt like they designed Sylveon to get me butt-devastated, because I'll admit that they succeeded pretty well. Hate eeveelutions, find Sylveon ugly as fuck, is the herald of by far the worst type in the game in aesthetic designs, Xerneas nonwithstanding while not even resembling the type while completely screwing over my favourite pokemon (Mainly due to PMD: Gates to Infinity. Not a great game by a long shot, but I genuinely liked the characters quite a lot, especially Hydreigon) and making official artwork of it to rub salt in the wound.

Maybe he'll get a mega form to get revenge on those terrible designed pokemon. I can dream.

Honestly, if you look past the massive, steaming, ribbon-wrapped shit in the front, I found that Fairy-types aren't that bad. And my favorite Gen V 'mons were Hydreigon and Scrafty, while Tyranitar is my all-time fave.
It's just that all Eeveelutions a shit, and the Sylveon thing went way too far.

I dunno. Xerneas is an amazing design, but aside from that, they're mediocre at best such as Mawile and Wigglytuff and completely horrendous at worst such as Aromatise and Sylveon.

Having fairy make bug type even worse of an attacking type didn't sit well with me either, neither did buffing fire.

It can take Parental Bond Return. I use with Rage Powder Amoonguss, Thunder Wave Meowstic and Tailwind Talonflame.

But I think is way too much support for just one pokémon...
